My Father's House

My Father’s House began in September
2005 when several young boys needed a place to live. These
are all young boys who lost their parents in the war, and
had no place to go. At this time they were all turning to
Pastor Sackie Kwalalon who is like a father to many all over
Liberia.
Jason
Nightingale, founder of Wordsower International
committed to partnering with us at Provision of Hope to help
fund this project. Today we have successful students who are
becoming young men of integrity who have an identity and a
hope for their future. They are no longer orphans, but sons
who are part of a family. We are proud of them and realize
what a privilege it is to train them to follow in the steps
of Jesus Christ. To become servant leaders who model after
the Good Samaritan where Jesus says “Go and Do Likewise”
At My Father’s House we have 12 high
school students living here. These are talented young men
who are becoming skilled at many
things. They are excellent singers and champions at soccer.
Our Director Aaron Paul has a room in this
house and supervises this group of boys. Ma Oretha and Ma
Wesseh do the cooking for them. Our vision is to walk with
these boys until they can mature to the place of providing
for themselves. After high school they will hopefully be able
to attend a vocational school or college in the area.
Each one has a story of a very difficult journey. Life has
definitely not been easy for them but thank God He raises
the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap.
That He may seat them with princes – with the princes
of His people…(Ps.113:7 & 8)
